Say It to My Face

In the same manner glowing reviews help restaurants succeed, just one disgruntled customer can be an eatery's death knell. In "Say It to My Face," chefs and restaurant owners get the chance to defend themselves during in-person meetings with their toughest online critics. After grievances are aired, experienced restaurateurs Andrew Gruel and Anthony Dispensa work with each proprietor, who looks to increase business by completely making over the establishment's menu, decor and even staff. Gruel is founder and executive chef of Slapfish Restaurant Group, the award-winning food truck-turned-international brick and mortar, and Dispensa is the group's West Coast director of operations.
